Visitors to the page are greeted with a message atop the page that reads: “The people voted for major reform.” A statement also declares DOGE.com “an official website of the United States government.” The organization is headed by Elon Musk.

The website contains a brief history of X posts by the Department of Government Efficiency X account until Feb. 7, 2025, at 9:04 p.m. Each post tracks the discoveries and progress of DOGE and the Trump administration.

The website’s top right-hand corner has several tabs: Savings, Workforce, Regulations, Join, and About.

When clicking the “Savings” tab, a message reads, “Receipts coming soon, no later than Valentine’s Day.” No other information is currently provided. Clicking on the “Workforce” tab directs people to a chart of the U.S. government that lists the total number of employees working for the federal government (2,252,162), subordinate offices (16,436), and total wages for all government employees ($211.3 billion). It also provides information about government employees’ average age, salary, and years of tenure.

Clicking on “Regulations” will show visitors the “number of agency rules created by unelected bureaucrats for each law passed by Congress in 2024” along with an “Unconstitutionality Index.” It also lists the total number of federal regulations by agencies, including the number of words for each department’s “sections of regulations.” For example, the Environmental Protection Agency has over 20,000 “sections of regulations” that contain over 12 million words.
