Former President Donald Trump is set to appear on Joe Rogan’s popular podcast, “The Joe Rogan Experience,” with the recording taking place on Friday. In parallel, Vice President Kamala Harris has recently shifted her media strategy and increased her visibility by participating in interviews with prominent figures across different media platforms, including podcasts.
Donald Trump to appear on Joe Rogan’s podcast: Report
Former President Donald Trump is expected to appear for an interview on an episode of the Joe Rogan Experience this week.
According to a report, the pair will record their conversation on Friday. Trump has been making the rounds on several popular podcasts. During an interview on the Full Send podcast, Trump’s second time on the show, the GOP nominee confirmed he will be sitting down with Rogan.
Rogan himself has not confirmed the interview. However, the X account belonging to his podcast posted a question to its 400,000-plus followers: “Do you want to see @realDonaldTrump on the podcast?”
Trump’s opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, recently reversed course on her media strategy and has also appeared for several interviews with celebrity personalities across television, radio, and social media after a month without any interviews. In particular, the Harris campaign honed in on podcast appearances, as they are readily available to listeners without any sort of subscription.
For example, Harris appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast as the show’s first political guest. This followed Trump’s appearance on comedian Theo Von’s podcast This Past Weekend as the first former president or politician for that show.
While both episodes aired in their entirety on Spotify, the platform does not publish the number of listeners on its app. However, on YouTube, Call Her Daddy posted a clip of Harris discussing her stance on abortion. That clip had over 657,00 views. Meanwhile, Von posted Trump’s entire interview to the reception of over 14 million views. As a result, Trump’s running mate, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH), also appeared on This Past Weekend in an episode that aired Tuesday.
The Washington Examiner has reached out to the Trump campaign for comment.
