Dylan Mulvaney seeks safety in Peru, joins Shaman ceremonies amidst Bud Light criticism.
Dylan Mulvaney Finds Solace and Adventure in Peru
Dylan Mulvaney, the transgender-identifying activist who recently faced nationwide backlash, has embarked on a journey to Peru in search of a new perspective and a sense of safety. After partnering with Bud Light and enduring the consequences, Mulvaney decided to take a solo trip to Peru to “feel something” and escape the negativity.
Mulvaney, who identifies as a woman, shared his Peruvian adventure on TikTok, posting videos of himself surrounded by llamas and exploring the breathtaking Machu Picchu. In one of his TikTok videos, Mulvaney expressed his gratitude for the kindness of the Peruvian people and his newfound sense of security. However, he also acknowledged the sadness of having to leave his own country to find that safety.
During his trip, Mulvaney also participated in shaman ceremonies, which he described as therapeutic experiences equivalent to ten years of therapy. These ceremonies have not only allowed him to feel something but have also helped him reconnect with himself, making him feel like his own best friend again.
Dylan Mulvaney is claiming to have fled the U.S. because he didn’t feel safe and is now in Peru.

Mulvaney’s trip to Peru comes after Anheuser-Busch faced significant financial losses due to their partnership with him. The controversial collaboration involved printing Mulvaney’s face on Bud Light cans, which sparked a wave of criticism. Mulvaney publicly criticized Bud Light for not standing up for him and expressed disappointment in the way the situation was blown out of proportion.
While Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth has not explicitly called the partnership a mistake, he emphasized the importance of not allowing the beer brand to become a divisive force.

Feeling neglected by the brand, Mulvaney expressed his fear of leaving his house and the harassment he has faced in public. The fallout from the partnership has also affected Bud Light’s sales, causing it to drop from being one of the top 10 most popular beers in the country to number 14 in recent customer surveys.
