Eagles Lineman Josh Sills Indicted on Rape, Kidnapping Charges in Ohio
Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Josh Sills was indicted on one count of rape and one count of kidnapping in Ohio on Wednesday, the state’s attorney general announced.
Sills (25 years old) was indicted on one count for rape and one count for kidnapping. Ohio Attorney General A news release stated that Guernsey County Sheriff Jeffrey D. Paden and Dave Yost were both charged. Both charges are first degree felonies.

The December 2019 incident that led to the indictment is the basis for the indictment. Sills are allegedly “engaged in sexual activity that was not consensual and held a victim against her will,” Officials confirmed the statement. The Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation after the alleged crime was immediately reported.
This indictment is coming days before Super Bowl LVII when the Eagles are scheduled to play. Sills was a rookie in 2022 and only played in one regular-season game.

Sills was issued a summons to appear in Guernsey County Common Pleas Court on Feb. 16 — four days after the Eagles are set to play in the Super Bowl.
