An Unfortunate Morning Jog
SAN DIEGO—In a shocking incident that took place on September 2, an 80-year-old man was brutally attacked and stabbed multiple times while out for his morning jog in the Bay Park neighborhood of San Diego.
The terrifying assault occurred around 5:20 a.m. near the intersection of Littlefield Street and Frankfort Street, according to the San Diego Police Department (SDPD).
The victim, a courageous veteran, was forcefully pushed to the ground and mercilessly stabbed in the throat, neck, and wrist. Although he was rushed to the hospital, his strong spirit prevailed, and he is expected to survive.
The assailant quickly fled the scene after the vicious attack. Descriptions provided by witnesses indicate that the suspect is a man in his 30s, standing approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, with long straight hair and no facial hair. He was last seen wearing a dark jacket, dark pants, and carrying a skateboard.
