Progressive heavyweight Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) announced plans to run for a third term in the Senate Monday.
Warren vowed to continue her battle to get Washington play for the middle class and protect democracy in a voice that was reminiscent of her own. She was really chosen to serve in the Senate in 2012.
There is still much work to be done, so I’m running for Senate once more, Warren said.
Elizabeth Warren, 73 years old and serving her second words, declares she will run for re-election the following years. She says in an announcement this Do,” And now I’m running for Senate afterwards because there’s a lot more we’ve got to perform.”
