Elon Musk calls on King Charles III to overthrow UK government – Washington Examiner

Elon Musk, ⁣the CEO of Tesla, recently called on king Charles III to intervene and dissolve‌ the ⁣UK‍ Labor government due to it’s handling of serious issues related to criminal gangs. This outburst follows Musk’s ongoing criticism of the Labour government, especially regarding its‌ response to the exploitation‍ of young girls in the UK. musk expressed his agreement with a social media post that suggested ‍the king should take action for the nation’s security, stating, “yes.”

The ⁣legal authority for the king to dissolve parliament ‌is debatable;‌ while technically ‌possible, it has not been exercised in modern times and could create ‌a⁣ constitutional crisis.Historically, British monarchs have remained largely‍ apolitical. Musk’s rhetoric intensified as he accused Labour officials, including ⁤Prime Minister Keir Starmer,‌ of complicity in serious crimes against the British⁤ public, demanding accountability and drastic action⁤ against government officials.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk called on King Charles III to overthrow the United Kingdom‘s Labour government.

Musk has been taking swipes at the Labour government for days but reached a fever pitch this week when he voiced outrage over the government’s handling of the mostly-Pakistani rape gangs that victimized thousands of white British girls for decades. Right after midnight on Friday, he issued his most drastic statement yet, agreeing with a post that called on King Charles III to intervene and dissolve the government.

“Who also thinks the KING should Dissolve Parliament and order a General Election be called for the sake and security of the country? The King must ACT before it is too late!” user Benonwine said, to which Musk responded, “Yes.”

HOW ELON MUSK HELPED WILL TRUMP BACK TO THE WHITE HOUSE

Whether the king has the power to dissolve parliament is up for debate. According to Milners Solicitors, a British legal firm, the king technically has the right to dissolve parliament, but such a move hasn’t been exercised in modern history. Doing so would likely create a constitutional crisis, possibly resulting in Charles III’s abdication or the end of the monarchy altogether. British monarchs are mostly apolitical, almost never commenting on political matters.

Though a prime minister must seek their approval to dissolve parliament, the procedure is acknowledged primarily as a simple formality.

The last time a British King unilaterally dissolved parliament was King William IV in 1831. Since then, decorum and the law have greatly reduced the monarch’s power.

Aside from his calls for the king to intervene, Musk escalated his rhetoric significantly on Friday.

He called Labour Safeguarding Minister Jess Phillips a “rape genocide apologist” and said Labour Prime Minister Keir Starmer was complicit in the “RAPE” of the U.K.

“Starmer was complicit in the RAPE OF BRITAIN when he was head of Crown Prosecution for 6 years. Starmer must go and he must face charges for his complicity in the worst mass crime in the history of Britain,” Musk said.

ELON MUSK’S NEW GOVERNMENT ROLE COULD RAISE ETHICAL CONUNDRUMS

In the last week, X has erupted over discussions of Pakistani child rape gangs active in the U.K. over several decades. Though the extent of the problem had been known since the 2010s, a new firestorm erupted after the Labour government rejected a request from the city of Oldham for a Home Office-led investigation into the historic abuse, triggering allegations of complicity.

White British girls as young as 11 were targeted and gang raped by the groups, in addition to torture, threats, drugging, and murder. One 14-year-old victim was allegedly ground up into kebab meat. The surviving victims reported being subject to repeated racial abuse.

Musk began posting about the scandal on Wednesday but retweeted other accounts that had been discussing it days prior. His first post on the matter occurred early on the morning of Wednesday, quoting Telegraph columnist Sam Ashworth-Hayes, who in turn was quoting a report detailing how fathers who attempted to rescue their daughters from houses where the gangs imprisoned them were in turn arrested rather than the gangs.

He threw his lot behind Reform U.K. leader Nigel Farage, who he met at Mar-a-Lago last month.

The Labour government, fearful that Musk could have a decisive effect, is eyeing ways to neuter his influence. It has floated the idea of taking further measures to prevent foreign figures from making outsize political donations, the Wall Street Journal reported.
