Elon Musk Calls Out Washington Post Over Their Latest Fake Story
Yes, I do. It’s not shocking. It’s not surprising that the Washington Post lies.
This is the latest example. I knew it was false, but I had no evidence so I decided to let it go. It was a claim that spread quickly on Twitter and into the MSM. Elon Muss had an argument at Twitter headquarters and made engineers rewrite the algorithm in order to ensure that his tweets would always be the first to see.
Although it was absurd, the claim spread like wildfire in today’s hyper-partisan environment. Or, rather, it was misinformation supported by the MSM.
Your article is clearly false. Are you really doing no research? This is what I mean by reading tweets. https://t.co/c3ST23XX15

The Washington Post allocated prime real property and TWO journalists to this story, clearly investing substantial resources to spread the myth. The Jeff Bezos-owned propaganda outlet–quite the irony there–couldn’t let the opportunity to dunk on Musk escape, even if they had to ignore facts.
You think that two reporters could investigate the claim. But they won’t. It would be reporting, and not spreading a convenient narrative.
SAN FRANCISCO — Nearly four months into Elon Musk’s ownership of Twitter, one of the most influential social media websites has been transformed into a mercurial billionaire’s personal sandbox.
Twitter users anticipated that Musk would make the site more user-friendly. Musk bought the company in October for $44billion and set himself up as the CEO. “free speech.” Many underestimated the power of Musk’s ability to make large-scale changes to the site, with the potential for disruption to the user experience.
Platformer, a site that showcases this approach, demonstrated it in a dramatic way this week. reported Twitter had made major algorithmic changes — on Musk’s orders — that resulted in users seeing the billionaire’s tweets first. Musk had been worried His engagement was decreasing: His tweet supporting the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl had not performed as well than President Biden’s. Twitter fixed the problem, pushing Musk’s tweets at the top of many users feeds. This was widely noticed by users.
The WaPo did an analysis of engagement with Musk’s tweets that purports to show how engagement with his account has spiked, although the range of dates they used was rather sparse–the last few days in January and the first for February, noting that his engagement on SuperBowl Sunday was especially high.
Really? Super Bowl Sunday was a busy day for people who were constantly on their phones. Who would have thought it?
I was online because I was so obsessed with Twitter, which allows me to keep up with the latest news as it happens. Although I don’t recommend this as a lifestyle it is crucial to my job.
Musk is a person I follow and I haven’t noticed a rise in his tweets. This claim was spread around by many Left-leaning people, but not others, suggesting that this was a coordinated effort to create a false impression. This happens on Twitter all the time and isn’t limited to Left or Right. This is normal behavior for propaganda merchants.
WaPo’s story revealed that the sources were fired Twitter employees seeking to strike back at Musk. All the complaints revolved around Musk’s plans to restructure Twitter in line with his personal priorities (e.g, getting rid of bots).
Horrors! Eliminating bots? I guess we all know why these guys were fired–they thought that Twitter being populated by millions of bots is A-OK. Good riddance!
They are not happy with his political views, free speech, and especially the fact that he fired them.
All this was eaten up by the Post because they also hate Musk.
They didn’t do any reporting on the subject. They coyly mention that Twitter hasn’t responded. “yet” They are not obliged to answer their questions, but it has been proven that reporters frequently contact the subject of hit pieces just minutes before publishing. Taylor Lorenz is a notable example of this. However, Taylor Lorenz sometimes skips calling to obtain comments and pretends to have done so.
Musk highlighted the importance of Twitter’s ability to fight spam and bots before he bought it.
“If our Twitter bid succeeds, we will defeat the spam bots or die trying!” Musk posted shortly before the deal was finalized on April 21. This was a day after he denounced what he claimed were confirmed. “scam crypto bots” You can find it on the website.
It was not that crypto bots weren’t a problem.
“All the examples were pretty unique to him, but there were these long-standing issues that overlapped,” One former employee recalled the incident.
Musk’s comments about Twitter’s problems prior to the takeover were frequently raising alarms over issues that were far removed from the average user’s experience.
Ah! Ah!
Shocking.
All of this confirms the Gallup poll’s finding that 25% of Americans believe or suspect the MSM lies to them in order to push a narrative.
The MSM lies to us to push a narrative.
