Elon Musk Mocks Twitter Employee Openly On The Platform With Movie Clip From ‘Office Space’
Elon Musk, Twitter’s CEO, mocked one of his ex-workers Monday night using footage from the comedy film “Office Space,” This suggests that the employee didn’t add any real value to the company.
“Dear @elonmusk 👋 9 days ago the access to my work computer was cut, along with about 200 other Twitter employees,” Haraldur Thorleifsson sent a tweet at Musk “However your head of HR is not able to confirm if I am an employee or not. You’ve not answered my emails. Maybe if enough people retweet you’ll answer me here?”
“What work have you been doing?” Musk was asked.
“I would need to break confidentiality to answer this question here,” Musk was quick to respond. “If you have your lawyers share in writing that I can do that then I’d be happy to discuss that openly!”
“It’s approved, you go ahead,” Musk was quick to respond.
You can go forward after it’s been approved

Thorleifsson responded to this by giving a long list of items he claimed he had accomplished.
- Contributed to the efforts of saving approximately $500k on a SaaS contract. Assist in closing many other SaaS contracts.
- We prioritized design projects in the company so that we could achieve our goals with a smaller team.
- To help improve the design quality across the organization, use led design criteria
- All design positions were supervised by a hiring manager
- I worked on trying to get the company to shift its focus away from power users to more on younger users, as our users base is getting older.
Thorleifsson continued, saying that the head for human resources “just miraculously” He replied and he confirmed. “that I no longer work at Twitter!!”
Musk responded to Musk’s list of claims asking questions and suggesting some assertions were untrue.
“Which SaaS contract exactly?” Musk was asked. “Prioritization of what design projects?”
“Level up from what design to what?” Musk was asked. “Pics or it didn’t happen.”
“We haven’t hired design roles in 4 months,” He continued. “What changes did you make to help with the youths?”
Musk tweeted a video from the clip. “Office Space” Where an employee is asked about his actual job for the company, and then proceeds to have a complete meltdown.

“The reality is that this guy (who is independently wealthy) did no actual work, claimed as his excuse that he had a disability that prevented him from typing, yet was simultaneously tweeting up a storm,” Musk stated. “Can’t say I have a lot of respect for that.”
“But was he fired? No, you can’t be fired if you weren’t working in the first place!” He concluded.
Was he actually fired? It’s not possible to be fired from a job if you didn’t work in the first instance.
