Elon Musk: Twitter logo to change, bidding farewell to ‘all the birds’.
(Reuters) – Elon Musk is shaking things up again! In a recent tweet, he announced his plans to change Twitter’s logo, stating, “And soon we shall bid adieu to the twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds.”
But that’s not all. Musk also revealed that if a good enough X logo is posted, it will go live worldwide tomorrow. The anticipation is building!
Musk even shared an image of a flickering “X” as a teaser. During a Twitter Spaces audio chat, he confirmed that the Twitter logo will indeed change, expressing that “it should have been done a long time ago”.
Under Musk’s leadership, Twitter has already undergone significant transformations. The company changed its business name to X Corp, aligning with Musk’s vision to create a “super app” similar to China’s WeChat.
Exciting times lie ahead for Twitter, and we can’t wait to see what the new logo will look like. Stay tuned!
Twitter’s website emphasizes the importance of its current logo, describing it as “our most recognizable asset”. However, it seems that change is on the horizon.
In April, the Twitter bird was temporarily replaced by Dogecoin’s Shiba Inu dog, which caused a surge in the meme coin’s market value. Now, with the upcoming logo change, Twitter is once again making waves.
As Musk continues to make bold moves, Twitter faces its fair share of challenges. The company recently faced criticism for implementing daily tweet limits, leading to the growth of Meta-owned rival service Threads. Additionally, Twitter is currently dealing with a lawsuit claiming it owes former employees at least $500 million in severance pay.
Despite the hurdles, Musk’s influence on Twitter is undeniable. Let’s see what the future holds for this ever-evolving social media platform.
