Elon Musk, the renowned entrepreneur, recently stirred up controversy on X, formerly known as Twitter, when he revealed plans to eliminate the “block” feature from the app.

This announcement prompted a swift response in the form of a community note, which initially claimed that Musk was unable to remove the “block” feature due to Apple’s App Store and Google’s Play Store policies.
The note began with the statement, “Elon Musk cannot do this.”
The note also included two links — one to Apple guidelines and the other to Google policies.
According to Apple’s user-generated content section, apps with user-generated content must have the ability to block abusive users from the service.
