The incident reportedly involved coarse language and a scolding about cleanliness, leaving Maxwell feeling uncomfortable and embarrassed.
Despite her conviction, Maxwell sees herself as innocent and reported the encounter as a personal matter.
In addition to her allegations of sexual abuse, Maxwell has filed numerous complaints about harassment, unprofessional behavior, and discrimination in prison.
She has also complained about the food, computer access, mail tampering, and invasive searches.
Maxwell’s complaints have earned her the nickname “Prison Karen.”
She has had conflicts with her cellmates, including a transgender inmate, and has been involved in arguments and threats.
Maxwell has also reported an extortion plot by two Cuban inmates, who demanded money from her prison commissary account.
The inmates were subsequently placed in solitary confinement.
Despite her legal troubles, Maxwell continues to make headlines with her claims and actions while in prison.
