Eric Trump provides detailed account of father’s injuries after near-death experience – Washington Examiner
Eric Trump shared details about the injuries his father, former President Donald Trump, sustained after a close encounter with an assassin. Despite being left with a bullet wound to his ear, Trump’s son described it as a “nice flesh wound” that did not require stitches. The incident occurred at a rally where Trump is expected to speak at the Republican National Convention. Wow, that must have been a frightening experience for the former president and his family. It’s fortunate that the injury was not more severe. It’s always unsettling to hear about acts of violence like this, regardless of one’s political beliefs. I hope that the individual responsible is swiftly brought to justice.
Eric Trump describes father’s ‘nice flesh wound’ injuries in detail after close brush with death
Eric Trump revealed the full extent of his father’s injuries after a would-be assassin left former President Donald Trump with a bullet wound to his ear.
On Wednesday morning, Trump’s son told CBS News the bullet wound to his ear gave his father “the greatest earache he’s ever had,” adding that the “nice flesh wound” didn’t require any stitches.
Speaking to media from the Republican National Convention, where his father is slated to address the country on Thursday, the younger Trump gave further insight into the state of the Republican nominee’s health.
“I’m sure the ear doesn’t feel well,” Eric Trump said. His comments came after he reassured CBS News on Tuesday evening that his father was “in great spirits” and hearing fine.
Trump has credited his survival to divine intervention, saying the unique tilt of his head at the moment the bullet hit him saved his life. “God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening,” the former president posted to Truth Social following the attack on his life.
Eric Trump confirmed on Wednesday that his father “was millimeters away from having his life expunged.”
