Eric Trump revealed the full extent of his father’s injuries after a would-be assassin left former President Donald Trump with a bullet wound to his ear.

Speaking to media from the Republican National Convention, where his father is slated to address the country on Thursday, the younger Trump gave further insight into the state of the Republican nominee’s health.

“I’m sure the ear doesn’t feel well,” Eric Trump said. His comments came after he reassured CBS News on Tuesday evening that his father was “in great spirits” and hearing fine.

Trump has credited his survival to divine intervention, saying the unique tilt of his head at the moment the bullet hit him saved his life. “God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening,” the former president posted to Truth Social following the attack on his life.
