‘Biden Terrified as Global Temperatures Rise 1.5°’
President Biden Expresses Concern Over Rising Global Temperatures
During his recent trip overseas, President Joe Biden voiced his apprehension about the potential increase in global temperatures by 1.5°. He described this prospect as “more frightening than nuclear war.” Speaking at a press conference in Hanoi, Vietnam, Biden also referred to climate skeptics as “lying dog-faced pony soldiers“ and claimed to have borrowed the line from an old John Wayne movie.

President Biden began by acknowledging his Special Envoy for Climate, John Kerry, stating that Kerry possessed extensive knowledge about emissions. Biden expressed his belief that more carbon is absorbed into the Amazon region’s ground than emitted in the entire United States. He emphasized the importance of preserving forests and preventing developing nations from adopting harmful practices such as deforestation.
Biden further emphasized the urgency of addressing global warming, stating that it poses the only existential threat humanity faces. He stressed the need to prevent global temperatures from exceeding 1.5° within the next decade or two, as it would lead to irreversible consequences.
During the same press conference, President Biden referred to climate deniers as “lying, dog-faced pony soldiers,” a phrase he claims to have borrowed from a John Wayne film.

President Biden explained that he borrowed the phrase from a movie about John Wayne, where an Indian scout refers to a Union soldier as a “lying, dog-faced pony soldier.” He used this line to criticize those who spread misinformation about global warming.
However, it was later reported by TMZ that the quote, as Biden delivered it, does not actually exist. It seems to be a combination of John Wayne lines and a 1952 Tyrone Power film titled “Pony Soldier.”
