Every Republican Presidential Hopeful Had Better Be Ready For The Trump Treatment
Democrats seem to be moving closer to achieving their seven-year policy agenda with the criminal indictment of former President Donald Trump. On Thursday, Manhattan District Attorney, Alvin Bragg, indicted Trump on over 30 counts – the first time a former president has faced charges, according to reports. As the leading contender for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, the politically motivated charges against Trump could cement the Democrats’ victory. However, any Republican contender aiming to replace Trump as the Republican Party’s flag bearer must brace themselves for similar deep-state information operations launched against them, which could be far worse than Trump endured.
Federal prosecutors previously declined to press charges against Trump citing weak evidence. Therefore, the charges against Trump are viewed as highly political, especially since Bragg campaigned two years ago on a platform to investigate Trump. Democrats have continually held an unhealthy fascination with Trump, actively seeking ways to remove him from office through phony allegations, partisan investigations and impeachment.
According to The Federalist, Trump has remained under investigation ever since his White House ambitions began to take off. Whether it was false claims of Russian interference or the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021, Democrats have been committed to impeaching him ever since his inauguration. Rather than respecting the right of US citizens to vote in a democratically elected president, they have been relentless in attempting to subvert the political and legal systems deployed by several former US presidents. Once Trump steps aside, other potential Republican candidates will inevitably face similar challenges.
Florida Governor, Ron DeSantis, and former Vice President, Mike Pence, have criticized Trump?s prosecution as pure political vengeance. Any potential GOP contender facing such a situation will need to brace themselves for significant challenges, and the use of the legal system to promote a political agenda will turn the rule of law on its head.
Therefore, Republican contenders in the 2024 presidential race must ensure they are battle-tested and prepared to face the evil of the deep-state launched at them by the left-wing media machinery.
