The annual Conservative Political Action Conference is mere days away, with this year’s event starting a few weeks after President Donald Trump’s inauguration and ensuing massive upheaval of the U.S. government.
This year’s gathering, taking place just outside Washington, D.C., will gather countless conservative lawmakers as well as other major media personalities who will deliver speeches over the course of four days.
Here’s everything you need to know about the annual conservative event being held this week.
Can I still get tickets to the event?
Tickets are still being sold, though Mercedes Schlapp, a CPAC host, has urged people to buy their tickets as soon as possible. General admission tickets are available for $95, and for youth born on or after February 23, 2000 tickets are available for $50; both of these prices are available for a limited time.
“I’ll tell you, for those who came for the inauguration and it was freezing cold and they really couldn’t see the president speak, you’ll have a warm room, a nice chair to sit in, and some good food,” Schlapp told Megyn Kelly, host of The Megyn Kelly Show. “That’s what I can promise you.”

Who is speaking at this year’s CPAC?
Schlapp stated that both Trump and Vice President JD Vance are expected to attend the event. Other members of the Trump administration set to speak include White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, Federal Communications Commission Chairman Brendan Carr, Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, national security adviser Mike Waltz, Secretary of Veteran Affairs Doug Collins, presidential counselor Alina Habba, border czar Tom Homan, and White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino.
U.S. lawmakers who are confirmed to attend this year’s event include Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Rick Scott (R-FL), Eric Schmitt (R-MO), Jim Banks (R-IN), and Tim Sheehy (R-MT). Reps. Byron Donalds (R-FL), Cory Mills (R-FL), Harriet Hageman (R-WY), Riley Moore (R-VW), Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R-AR), and Knox County, Tennessee, Mayor Glenn Jacobs, also known for his wrestling moniker Kane, are also expected to attend.
Media personalities who are set to speak include Mark Levin, Steve Bannon, DailyWire commentators Ben Shapiro and Michael Knowles, actor Dean Cain, filmmaker Robby Starbuck, and MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, along with Kelly.
Additionally, Schlapp hinted that several world leaders will be present at this year’s event, with Argentine President Javier Milei confirmed as a speaker.
Where is the event being held?
This year’s CPAC is being held at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center, located in National Harbor, Maryland.
How do I get to the event?
Parking is available at National Harbor, and guests can prepurchase parking to guarantee a parking spot. National Harbor is also in close proximity to three airports: the Dulles International Airport, Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, and the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.
When does the event begin?
The event takes place over the course of four days, beginning Wednesday and concluding on Saturday.
