A Former FBI Contractor Faces Charges for Sexual Exploitation of Children

Janes now faces serious charges, including sexual exploitation of children, production of child sexual abuse material, attempted coercion and enticement, and receipt of child pornography. If convicted, he could be sentenced to a mandatory minimum of 15 years in prison, with the possibility of a life sentence.

The case against Janes began when the Galloway Township Police Department in New Jersey received a complaint from the father of one of the victims. The affidavit filed in support of Janes’ arrest revealed disturbing details of his interactions with the minors. It mentioned instances where Janes paid money to one victim and engaged in strip games using video chat functions. The affidavit also highlighted Janes’ admission that he was aware of the victim’s young age.
Janes’ actions extended beyond mere communication, as he requested explicit images from the boys and discussed sexual matters with them. The investigation uncovered that Janes had purchased numerous videos and images of child sexual abuse, further deepening the severity of the charges against him.
