FAA Closes Airspace In Parts Of Carolinas For ‘National Security Effort’
Saturday’s announcement from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), stated that several North and South Carolina airports were closed in support of a U.S. Military effort.
The news comes as a Chinese spy satellite has crossed the U.S. over the past few days, and is currently crossing South Carolina.
“The FAA has paused departures from and arrivals to Wilmington (ILM), Myrtle Beach International (MYR) and Charleston International (CHS) airports to support the Department of Defense in a national security effort,” FAA In a statement “The agency has also closed airspace.”
