FACT CHECK: Did Joe Biden claim his account was hacked after he withdrew from the race?
The post shared on social media claiming that President Joe Biden’s account was hacked and he did not suspend his campaign is false. There is no evidence to support this claim, and Biden has since posted statements related to his resignation. Vice President Kamala Harris is reportedly gaining support for her presidential bid after the news of Biden suspending his campaign, with over 1,000 democratic delegates endorsing her. There is no credible news report suggesting that Biden was hacked, and there is no record of the alleged post on Biden’s official X account.
