FACT CHECK: Image Claims To Show ‘F*** Trudeau’ Signs At Hockey Game
A social media post featuring an image that purportedly shows hockey fans holding signs reading “f*** Trudeau” at a game has been debunked. The image circulated on platforms such as Twitter and was highlighted by a user named Keean Bexte, who expressed enthusiasm about the photograph. However, a fact-check has revealed that the image was actually digitally altered, and the original photograph did not include any mentions of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Additionally, it was reported that the Florida Panthers won their first Stanley Cup on June 24, defeating the Edmonton Oilers 2-1 in Game 7, according to CBS News. The fake image and its spread on social media have prompted further discussions on the verification and authenticity of images shared online.
