The Biden Administration’s “Calling Card” of Empathy
The Biden administration and media pundits have repeatedly emphasized that empathy is President Joe Biden’s defining characteristic.
“If you know this president, you know how much he genuinely cares about people,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated last week.
However, Biden’s actions in response to train derailments, natural disasters, and even the birth of his seventh grandchild have called this empathy into question.
Just last week, Biden had an opportunity to showcase his empathy when a reporter asked for his thoughts on the increasing death toll from the Maui wildfires. His response: “No. No comment.“
