Fulton County District Attorney Accuses Jim Jordan of Obstructing Trump Investigation
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has accused House Oversight Committee Chairman Jim Jordan of attempting to obstruct her criminal investigation into former President Donald Trump. Last month, Willis indicted Trump and 18 others for allegedly conspiring to change the 2020 presidential election results. In a letter to Willis, Jordan questioned the timing of the indictments and suggested they were politically motivated. Willis’ accusations against Trump and his supporters of interfering with the 2020 election results are ironic, considering the irregularities and chain of custody issues identified in an independent report commissioned by the Georgia State Election Board. Jordan’s efforts to hold Willis accountable are crucial in preventing further political weaponization of the justice system by Democrat prosecutors.
