Tragedy Strikes Farmington, New Mexico: 3 Dead and 9 Injured in Shooting

On Monday, a shooting in Farmington, New Mexico left three people dead and nine injured. The incident occurred at the intersection of Apache Street and Orchard Avenue, prompting citywide school lockdowns.

Police Respond to Active Shooter

Police quickly responded to the scene and engaged with the shooter, who was killed on site. Two officers were also injured in the exchange. The suspect’s identity is currently unknown, and police have confirmed that there are no other known threats at this time.
