According to a‌ termination report from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) obtained by Fox News, the couple now holds assets worth ⁣$11.5 million.

Their wealth stems ⁤from a combination of “awards, federal compensation increases, royalties, and mutual fund investments,” as⁣ stated in the report.

However, Fauci has previously claimed that he donates all of his royalties to ⁢charity.

During his⁤ time as the chief medical adviser to President Joe Biden and as a member ⁣of the‌ White House Coronavirus Task ⁣Force under the 45th President Donald Trump, Fauci earned more money than both presidents.

He⁣ was also the highest-paid federal employee ⁤during ⁤the COVID-19 pandemic⁣ and retired with an annual salary of‌ nearly⁢ $481,000, according to Fox.

Furthermore, an investigation⁤ by the taxpayer watchdog OpenTheBooks.com discovered that the couple’s‍ net worth increased by $5‌ million between January 2019 and⁤ December 2021, surpassing⁢ $7.5 million.

In 2021, Fauci received a $1 ⁢million donation ⁤from at least one ⁤nonprofit organization, the Dan ‌David⁢ Foundation, ⁢for his efforts in “speaking‍ truth to power” and ⁤”defending science” during⁢ the Trump administration.

“Despite being seen as a⁣ lifelong public servant, Dr. Fauci and his wife ⁤Christine Grady — who still holds a leadership position at the ‍NIH today — managed to become decamillionaires,” said OpenTheBooks CEO⁢ Adam Andrzejewski in‍ an interview with The ‍New ⁣York Post.

“This‌ was achieved through a combination‌ of long-term tenure, special assignments that boosted ⁣Fauci’s salary, as well as⁤ awards, ‍payments, and perks from⁤ private entities,” he added.⁤ “Even ⁣though Fauci left his federal‍ position, taxpayers funded and guaranteed a‍ lifetime pension payout that we estimate rivals the president’s salary.”

Recently, Fauci has joined the staff at Georgetown University, assuming a professor position in the ⁤Infectious Diseases Division of its School of Medicine.

“This‌ is a natural extension of my ⁤scientific, clinical, and⁤ public health career, which was initially shaped during my⁢ high school ⁤and college‌ days‌ where I experienced the intellectual rigor, integrity, and ‍service-mindedness‌ of Jesuit institutions,” Fauci stated in a press release in June.

How does Dr. Fauci’s recent financial wealth compare to his previous claims‍ about donating all of his royalties to charity?

A new ⁣report has revealed that Dr. Anthony Fauci, the ⁤former director of the National Institute of Allergy⁣ and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), and his wife, Christine Grady, have ⁢accumulated a net worth of at least $11 million. This significant wealth comes after Fauci’s recent departure from his position at the⁣ NIAID.

According to⁣ a termination report from the National⁤ Institutes of Health (NIH), which was obtained ⁤by ‍Fox ⁢News, the couple now holds assets worth $11.5 million. This ‍wealth is said to have been acquired⁢ through a combination of awards, ⁤federal compensation increases, royalties, and mutual fund investments.

It is worth noting that Fauci has previously claimed that he donates all of his royalties to charity. However,⁤ the recent ⁣report suggests⁢ that the couple’s net worth⁣ has steadily ⁢increased over the years.

During his time as the chief ‌medical adviser to President Joe Biden and as a member of the White ⁤House Coronavirus Task Force under former President Donald Trump,⁢ Fauci’s ‌earnings⁢ surpassed those of both presidents. He ⁤was ⁢also the highest-paid federal employee during the COVID-19 ⁣pandemic and retired with an annual ‍salary of nearly $481,000.

Furthermore, a investigation conducted by the taxpayer watchdog ⁢OpenTheBooks.com found that the couple’s ⁢net worth increased by $5 million between January 2019 and December 2021, surpassing $7.5 million. In 2021,‍ Fauci received a $1 million donation from‍ at least one nonprofit organization, the Dan David ‌Foundation, for his efforts in “speaking truth to power” and‌ “defending science” during the ⁢Trump administration.

OpenTheBooks CEO Adam Andrzejewski expressed ‍surprise at Fauci‍ and Grady’s substantial wealth, stating, “Despite ⁣being seen as⁢ a lifelong public servant, Dr. Fauci and his wife Christine Grady - who still holds a leadership position⁢ at the NIH today – managed to become decamillionaires.”

Andrzejewski attributed the couple’s‌ financial success to their long-term tenure,‌ special ⁣assignments that boosted Fauci’s ⁢salary, as well as awards, payments, and perks from private entities.‍ He also highlighted the lifetime pension⁤ payout that taxpayers funded and guaranteed, ‍which he‍ estimates rivals the president’s salary.

Recently, Fauci has joined the staff⁤ at Georgetown University, assuming a professor position in the Infectious Diseases Division of its School of Medicine. In a press release in ⁢June, Fauci ‍expressed⁤ his excitement about‌ this new opportunity, stating that it is a natural extension of his scientific, ⁤clinical, and public health career.

While the‌ accumulation of significant wealth raises⁣ questions, ⁣it is important to ⁢remember the contributions that Fauci has made in the field⁤ of public health and infectious diseases. His expertise and guidance have been invaluable, especially during the ‌COVID-19 pandemic. However, the controversy surrounding his financial situation calls for transparency and accountability, ensuring⁣ that public officials uphold the highest ethical ⁣standards.
