The FBI has arrested three people in connection to the event at the Capitol on January 6th, 2021.
On Saturday, the FBI arrested three people at a ranch in Groveland, Florida on the third anniversary of the protest.
The three people arrested have been identified as Jonathan Daniel Pollock, Olivia Michele Pollock, and Joseph Daniel Hutchinson III.
According to the bureau, the three defendants are expected to appear in Federal Court in Ocala, Florida on Monday. Nothing more about their apprehension was made public.
Over 1,230 people have been charged with federal offenses such as seditious conspiracy and attacking police officers in connection to the protest.
About 170 people were found guilty of at least one charge following a trial in which a judge or jury rendered a decision, while about 730 others entered guilty pleas to charges.
Authorities are currently investigating who planted pipe bombs outside the offices of the Republican and Democrat national committees the day before the event, as well as the identities of up to 80 people who are wanted for their involvement at the protest.
