CNN Cite Two sources unnamed claimed the hack involved FBI New York Field Office. It is one the biggest offices of the agency. They declined to provide details about the hack’s origin, but said that they are still investigating.

Recent news about the FBI was caused by congressional Republicans’ request that the FBI investigate the appointment of President Joe Biden to the Asia-Pacific Economic Corporation’s Business Advisory Council. This council is alleged to have ties to the Chinese Communist Party and possible violations to the Espionage Act.

The Epoch Times has previously reported Lance Gooden (R.Texas), was one of six House Republicans who led the charge in a Let me know Christopher Wray, FBI Director, inquired about Dominic Ng’s nomination. These laws were introduced amid growing tensions between Washington, Beijing and Taiwan over Taiwan’s future. China claims Taiwan is its territory.

Since the downing of a Chinese spy balloon over the Atlantic—after it had traversed the continental United States and flown over critical military installations along the way—those tensions have ramped up.

Scott stated that the CCP’s recent changes to the bill were a result of Scott’s statement. “disturbing actions” This serves as a reminder to Xi Jinping, the leader of CCP, will be there “stop at nothing to exploit Americans and take advantage of the United States.”
