The Baltimore County Police Department is actively investigating these threats. The department tweeted that their School Resource Officers (SROs) would be working closely with school administrators throughout the day to ensure the safety of all students and staff.

When asked about the threats, Howard County Public Schools stated that they were unaware of any specific threats targeting their district.
Maryland has a total of 1,421 public schools across its 23 counties and Baltimore City, with 178 of them located in Baltimore County.
Similar bomb threats were reported in Oregon, Texas, and various airports. The FBI is determined to identify and apprehend those responsible for these alarming emails.
