FBI Report: Burisma CFO Admits Hiring Hunter for Dad’s Protection.
An Explosive Revelation: Hunter Biden’s Role in Ukrainian Energy Company Linked to Corruption
An internal FBI document released by Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley on Thursday contains shocking claims from a confidential informant regarding Hunter Biden’s involvement with a Ukrainian energy company. According to the informant, Hunter Biden was appointed to the board of Burisma Holdings nearly a decade ago due to his father’s influence and ability to protect the company.
The informant’s conversations with Burisma officials paint a disturbing picture of corruption that implicates President Joe Biden and his son. The document reveals that Hunter joined Burisma’s board in 2014 while Joe Biden was serving as vice president and the Obama administration’s point man in Ukraine.
In addition to alleging that CEO Mykola Zlochevsky was coerced into paying Joe and Hunter Biden, the informant also claims that Hunter’s presence on the board served as an insurance policy for the company.
“Don’t worry, Hunter will take care of all of those issues through his dad,” Zlochevsky reportedly said during a meeting in 2016.
The newly released FD-1023 document provides further evidence of the informant’s claims. It reveals that Hunter Biden was hired to “protect us, through his dad, from all kinds of problems,” according to Burisma CFO Vadim Pojarskii.
Unanswered Questions and Suppressed Information
The FD-1023 document, dated June 30, 2020, raises important questions about why the FBI failed to take action for over three years. It is unclear why this potentially damning evidence was not acted upon sooner.
Sen. Grassley obtained the document from Justice Department whistleblowers, shedding light on the alleged foreign bribery scheme involving Vice President Biden.
