Federal judge rules to redact information in Ghislaine Maxwell criminal case

A federal judge agreed to keep some details in Ghislaine Maxwell’s criminal case a secret. On Thursday, the U.S. district judge issued the ruling on the request for redactions.

JUST IN – Judge rules some #GhislaineMaxwell details are too “sensational and impure” to be disclosed to the public, thus most of the government’s redactions remain redacted and more redactions will be added.

He sided with Maxwell and decided some of the information would be too “sensational and impure” to reveal to the public. According to reports, redactions requested by prosecutors were also granted after they argued it would help protect the integrity of the investigation.

Maxwell was charged with recruiting and grooming girls to be sexually abused by disgraced sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. She is being held in a jail in New York City and her trial is scheduled for July.
