Five More Classified Docs Discovered at Biden’s Delaware Home
Saturday additional classified documents were found at Joe Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware home by White House Counsel Richard Sauber, who said he discovered them while conducting an additional search of Biden’s personal residence. Biden’s personal attorneys earlier this week found an initial classified document Biden kept from his time as Vice President.
Sauber said, “Because I have a security clearance, I went to Wilmington Thursday evening to facilitate providing the document the President’s personal counsel found on Wednesday to the Justice Department. While I was transferring it to the DOJ officials who accompanied me, five additional pages with classification markings were discovered among the material with it, for a total of six pages. The DOJ officials with me immediately took possession of them.”
The New York Times reports, “President Biden’s aides found additional pages of classified information at his Delaware home this week, the White House said on Saturday, bringing the tally to six pages uncovered this week.”
This week it was revealed that Biden kept classified documents from his time as Vice President in his think tank’s office, and more documents were found in Joe Biden’s Delaware garage next to his Corvette on Thursday, of which at least one was classified.
The first batch were uncovered in November but reports emerged of the discovery on Monday that classified documents found at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement, a think tank located in Washington, DC. Roughly 10 documents were found that were classified and carried over to the location when Biden was Vice President. The classified materials included some top-secret files with the SCI or ‘sensitive compartmented information’ designation.
Robert Hur was appointed as a special counsel by US Attorney General Merrick Garland on Thursday to review President Joe Biden’s handling of classified documents.
