College-aged Vivek Ramaswamy questions Al Sharpton’s lack of experience.
A Fiery Exchange: Ramaswamy Challenges Sharpton’s Political Experience
A newly uncovered video shows Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy pressing Al Sharpton, who was running for president in 2003, about his lack of political experience.
“Of all the Democratic candidates out there, why should I vote for the one with the least political experience?” 18-year-old Ramaswamy asked Sharpton in the resurfaced MSNBC clip.
Sharpton pushed back and said he had the “most political experience” and not to “confuse people that have a job with political experience.”
The clip comes as Ramaswamy faces the same accusations of having insufficient experience as he runs for president 20 years later.
Fellow Republican candidate Chris Christie slammed Ramaswamy for his political inexperience during this month’s debate, comparing him to former president Barack Obama.
