Florida Investigates Alleged ‘Sexually Explicit Performance Marketed To Children’: ‘A Crime In Florida’
The state of Florida An investigation was launched by the company into complaints regarding a sexually explicit performance that was advertised to children earlier in the month.
The popular conservative Twitter account Libs of TikTok published a tweet on December 21st: “The same group who put on an extremely graphic ‘family-friendly’ drag show which featured simulated sex acts, exposed buttholes, and oversized fake exposed breasts is performing this show in Florida on Monday.”
The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation released a statement Tuesday afternoon in response to the events.
“The Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) is aware of multiple complaints about a sexually explicit performance marketed to children held in Fort Lauderdale on December 26th,” The statement was as follows: “The Department is actively investigating this matter, including video footage and photographs from the event. DPBR will, like in other cases, take action.”
“Exposing children to sexually explicit activity is a crime in Florida, and such action violates the Department’s licensing standards for operating a business and holding a liquor license,” The statement went on. “The Department will share any collected evidence with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) for potential criminal liability.”
According to the department, these investigations are launched based on tips received from the public.

Chaya Raichik is the founder of Libs of TikTok. She revealed her identity to Tucker Carlson in a recent interview.
Raichik stated that Ron DeSantis, Florida Governor, offered her support following her doxxing in the wake of a piece by The Washington Post.
Carlson asked her if she had received any contact from anyone after the hit piece. She replied, “I will say this, when I was doxxed, someone from Ron DeSantis’ team called me.”
“She said, ‘The governor wanted me to give you a message. He said if you don’t feel safe — or — you or your family, if you need a place to go, to hide, to stay, you can come to the governor’s mansion,” Raichik said. “She said, ‘We have a guest house for you, and you can come and stay as long as you need.’”

Raichik responded on Twitter to David Reaboi, a political commentator, after Reaboi posted this clip. “Goes without saying that this wasn’t something he did for the cameras or to generate a news story—and it surely would’ve been one at the time. Had Chaya not mentioned it, nobody would’ve known about this.”
