Rhode Island is ‍gearing up to distribute all direct payments to⁢ Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) ‍recipients for the month of August. These ⁤payments, commonly‍ known as food stamps, ⁤will provide crucial support to Rhode Island​ residents enrolled in the program.

SNAP benefits for​ next month will ‌be worth up to $1,691 for Rhode Island residents participating in the program. This financial assistance will be available starting from August ⁤1st.

On average, each household member in ‌Rhode Island receives a monthly payment of $183. The ‌maximum payment for a household of eight is $1,691, while a single-person household is eligible for up to $281. Additionally, each additional member in a Rhode Island household​ receives an extra $211 in SNAP benefits.

Active SNAP recipients in Rhode Island can conveniently access their monthly benefits through an electronic benefit transfer (EBT) ⁤card.
