Tennessee’s September SNAP payments, worth up to $1,691, expire soon.
Tennessee Households to Receive SNAP Payments by Wednesday
Tennessee households that have yet to receive their payments from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program should have their money by Wednesday. This program provides crucial support to about 825,300 people, or 12% of the population, who receive food stamps.

Tennessee sends out food stamps from the first to the twentieth of each month. The disbursement of SNAP benefits is based on the last two digits of the household’s Social Security number.
- Households with SSN digits 90 to 94 will receive their payments on Tuesday.
- Recipients with SSN digits 95 to 99 will collect their SNAP benefits on Wednesday, the last day of the program’s cycle this month.
- Households with digits 00 to 89 receive their payments throughout the month in groups of five. For example, those with SSN digits 35 to 39 received their payments on Sept. 8, and those with digits 65 to 69 collected their benefits on Thursday.
Tennessee residents who qualify for SNAP after Wednesday will receive their payments for September and will not need to wait until their SSN digits are up in October.
The maximum SNAP payments in Tennessee are $281 for a household of one, $939 for a household of four, and $1,691 for a household of eight. An additional $211 is added for each additional household member.
Those who qualify for SNAP benefits will see the amount transferred to a prepaid electronic benefits transfer card. This card works similarly to a debit card and can be used at farmers’ markets, grocery stores, or some online retailers. The money is intended for purchasing healthy foods.

How do a boxer’s personal attributes, such as height, reach, and power, impact their performance in the ring?
There is no definite answer to this question as it ultimately depends on the boxer’s personal attributes, skills, and training. Some boxers may have a natural advantage in terms of height, reach, or power, while others may have exceptional technical skill or speed. Additionally, a boxer’s overall record, level of competition, and ability to adapt to different styles can also play a significant role in determining their effectiveness. Ultimately, it is the combination of these factors that determines whether a boxer is considered great or not.
