Musk and DeSantis outdid Cusack, forget the internet.
Governor Ron DeSantis and Elon Musk “Break the Internet”
When Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) announced his 2024 presidential campaign on Twitter Spaces, technical difficulties quickly overwhelmed the platform. But instead of being deterred, DeSantis used the situation to his advantage, claiming that he and billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk had “broken the internet.” However, not everyone was impressed.
John Cusack Lashes Out
Actor John Cusack took to Twitter to express his frustration, insinuating that Musk had teamed up with DeSantis out of a desire to “own” a president. Cusack went on to make a series of inflammatory statements, including accusing Texas billionaire Harlan Crow of buying Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and calling Musk a “feisty, white supremisct [sic], ever competitive, not to be out Douche-bagged Egor Mush.”
So a nazi collecting Texan freak billionaire who has a garden of evil statues to scare his grandkids –

Cusack’s rant drew criticism from many, with some suggesting that he had lost his grip on reality. Actor Dean Cain even shared the tweet “for posterity.”
Elon Musk “Bought a Governor”
Former Vox writer Aaron Rupar noted that Musk had made several appearances in a video being promoted by the DeSantis campaign, leading Cusack to claim that Musk had “bought a governor.”
Elon bought a governor – he’s a kingmaker – everybody’s got have a billionaire sugar daddy these days

While some may agree with Cusack’s sentiments, others have dismissed his comments as the ramblings of a disgruntled actor.
