Former CDC Director: COVID-19 originated in China lab

The former CDC director went on record, saying he believes the novel coronavirus was created in a Wuhan lab and escaped through infected workers.
“I am of the point of view that I still think the most likely ideology of this pathogen in Wuhan was from a laboratory. You know, escaped. Other people don’t believe that, that’s fine,” former CDC director Robert Redfield said. “Science will eventually figure it out. It’s not unusual for respiratory pathogens that are being worked on in a laboratory to infect a laboratory worker.”

In an interview with CNN being released this weekend, Redfield said based on his expertise, it seems unlikely that COVID-19 started in a Wuhan wet market, as reported by the Chinese communist government.
Although Redfield said he’s basing the assessment on his own opinion, he added it would be scientifically impossible for the virus to have been as infectious as it was in such a short amount of time.

“I have spent my life in virology,” Redfield stated. “I do not believe this somehow came from a bat to a human, and at that moment in time, the virus became one of the most infectious viruses that we know in humanity for human-to-human transmission.”
The mainstream media has repeatedly dismissed reports from experts who made the same assumptions about the virus throughout the pandemic.
