Former Disney Executive Dies From Overdose On Trio Of Drugs

Former Disney Executive Dave Hollis Died from Fatal Overdose of Cocaine, Fentanyl, and Alcohol

The tragic death of Dave Hollis, the former Disney executive and ex-husband of self-help author Rachel Hollis, has been attributed to a fatal overdose of cocaine, fentanyl, and alcohol. The autopsy report from the Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office revealed that Hollis had lethal amounts of these drugs in his system when he passed away at his home in Texas earlier this year.

Despite leaving Disney in 2018 to work with his wife’s media company, Hollis struggled with hypertension, depression, illicit drug use, and alcohol abuse. The autopsy report also revealed that he had hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, which can cause the narrowing and hardening of vessels that supply blood to the heart.

Following his death, Rachel Hollis expressed her devastation on social media and asked for prayers for their family. In an interview with The Christian Post, Dave Hollis spoke about the challenges he faced during his divorce from Rachel in 2020, which he described as the hardest year of his life.

Despite the difficulties, Hollis believed that everyone has a purpose in life and that it takes courage to step closer to that purpose. He encouraged others to embrace change and growth, even if it makes them and those around them uncomfortable.
