Former Heavyweight Champion Mike Tyson Spotted In Wheelchair At Miami Airport

Is Mike Tyson’s health on the decline?

The former heavyweight champion — who has reportedly been dealing with a “sciatica flare-up” in his back — was pictured in a wheelchair at Miami International Airport on Tuesday.

Tyson, 56, posed for selfies with fans as he was wheeled through the terminal with a large walking stick in his lap.

Tyson’s latest outing — when he was assisted in a wheelchair by an airport employee — came exactly three weeks after he was seen moving gingerly while out in New York City.

The boxing legend was filmed making his way from a car to his hotel room, using what appeared to be the same walking stick he held in Miami.

At the time, TMZ reported that it was “nothing serious. Just an occupational hazard for an athlete like Mike.”

Last month, Tyson confessed that he believes his “expiration date” is soon approaching.

“We’re all gonna die one day of course,” Tyson said on the “Hotboxin’” podcast. “Then, when I look in the mirror, I see those little spots on my face, I say, ‘Wow. That means my expiration date is coming close, really soon.’ ”

Sean McFarland, Tyson’s therapist, who specializes in trauma and addiction, was a guest on the July 13 episode.
