Ex-NFL All-Pro Adam Jones Arrested on Way to ‘Monday Night Football,’ Charged with Terroristic Threats.
A Former NFL Player Lands Behind Bars Again
A former NFL player known for off-the-field problems has once again found himself in trouble with the law. Adam “Pacman” Jones was booked into the Boone County Detention Center in Kentucky on Monday morning, following an altercation with airline employees at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.
Jones, who played for the Tennessee Titans and Cincinnati Bengals, is facing charges of alcohol-related intoxication, disorderly conduct, and making terroristic threats.
Despite the charges, Jones maintains his innocence. In an interview with local media, he disputed law enforcement’s account of him being intoxicated and explained that the incident began over a dispute about a charger that wasn’t working.
As Jones left the jail facility, he expressed frustration with the media’s reporting of the incident, calling it inaccurate. He emphasized his commitment to respect and honesty, stating, “I’m going to stand for what I stand for… Which is respect, honesty, and I’m walking my walk.”
In a video filmed earlier in the day, Jones expressed his dissatisfaction with the situation and threatened a lawsuit against American Airlines.
Adam “Pacman” Jones has a history of arrests and off-the-field problems dating back to his college playing days. This latest incident adds to his troubled past.
