Four Students Charged in Beating of 14-Year-Old Girl Who Later Committed Suicide


Four teenagers from New Jersey have been charged in connection with the brutal beating of Adriana Kuch, 14 years old, who was allegedly driven by family members to end her life.

One person was charged with aggravated attack, one with harassment, and two with conspiracy to commit aggravating assault. Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer According to NBC News, Friday.

“Each juvenile and their guardian was served with a copy of their complaint and are released pending future court appearances,” Billhimer stated.

Though the students’ names have not been released, they are likely the four girls who were previously suspended from the high school and charged with much lower crimes — three were originally slapped with third-degree felony assault and a fourth was charged with disorderly conduct.

Adriana was punched and kicked by the assailants, who then threw a glass at her and took her down the hall. As onlookers laughed, they shoved her into lockers, pulled her hair and hit her with a 20-ounce water container.

Adriana’s father said she blacked out during the beating and was left covered in bruises.
