Fox News Staffers Reveal Outlet Is Financially Backing Orgs Conservatives Despise – Report
A new report has exposed Fox News for offering to match employee donations to groups and causes that are not aligned with its mostly conservative audience. This surprising revelation comes from Blaze Media, a source that spoke to multiple current and former employees of Fox News.
According to the report, Fox News has a company program called Fox Giving, which allows employees to donate to charity. The company will match donations of up to $1,000 for groups that its employees support financially. However, it has been discovered that some of these donations are going to groups that fundamentally oppose Christians and conservatives.
Blaze Media revealed that Fox News is willing to donate to groups such as Planned Parenthood, the Satanic Temple, the pro-LGBT Trevor Project, and the left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center. This information was confirmed by screenshots provided by one source and corroborating testimony from two others.
One screenshot showed that the Satanic Temple is eligible for a 100 percent company match, while another showed that Planned Parenthood is also eligible for a 100 percent match. The description provided for Planned Parenthood emphasized its role as a trusted health care provider and advocate for reproductive health.
It is important to note that Fox News does have guidelines in place regarding the groups it will and will not match donations for. The company states that it will not match donations to organizations that discriminate based on personal characteristics or attributes.
These revelations have left some current and former employees feeling betrayed by the network. One current employee expressed their disappointment, stating, “Fox pretends to care about Christians, but some of the stuff they push internally suggests otherwise. Glory holes, trans surgeries for kids, and potential donations to Satan are a huge slap in the face to every Christian at the company, and we resent it.”
Another former Fox News producer claimed that things changed drastically within the company after Tucker Carlson was ousted in April. They believe that Fox News is disregarding and showing hatred towards its core audience, which is a significant portion of the country.
Blaze Media reached out to Fox News for comment, but the network did not respond. The Western Journal also sought a response from Fox News but has not received an immediate reply.
These revelations have sparked controversy and raised questions about the alignment of Fox News with its conservative audience. It remains to be seen how this report will impact the network’s reputation and relationship with its viewers.
