Foxconn plans $800 million investment in southern Taiwan
To support its goals for electric vehicles( EV ), TAIPEI( Reuters )- Foxconn plans to invest T$ 25 billion($ 820 million ) over the next three years in new manufacturing facilities in southern Taiwan.
The business, formerly known as Hon Hai Precision Industry Co Ltd, announced that EV chargers and rechargeable bus manufacturing facilities would be included in its projects in Kaohsiung.
Foxconn, a significant supplier to Apple Inc. and maker of iPhones, has high goals for the EV market as it works to expand its revenue base.
