GAFFE ALERT: Karine Jean-Pierre Calls Biden ‘President Obama’
Karine Jean Pierre, White House press secretary, referred President Joe Biden to as “President Obama” During a Thursday press conference, the latest gaffe by the struggling press secretary.
“Just an hour or so ago, President Obama announced that—pardon me, President Biden,” Jean-Pierre spoke out while discussing the nomination of Ajay Banga to be president of The World Bank.
“We’re going back, not forward. We got to go forward,” Jean-Pierre said it while trying to make fun of the error.

This is the latest gaffe made by Jean-Pierre, who has been increasingly left out of briefings to be replaced by John Kirby (coordinator for strategic communications at the National Security Council). A week after Jean-Pierre was appointed press secretary, the White House selected Kirby to fill the position. Some saw this as a sign of weakness. Undermining Former chief of staff for Kamala Harris.
