Gas prices ‍experienced a⁢ slight increase on Monday after dropping over the weekend. According to AAA, the ⁤average price of a gallon of regular gasoline was $3.448 on​ Monday. This reflects a minimal increase from ​$3.447 ⁣on Sunday and from the same price last week. A month​ ago, gas was averaging $3.609 per⁣ gallon and a year ago, during the last week of June 2023, the price was ⁤$3.578 per gallon. The⁢ state of Mississippi had ‍the lowest gas prices at $2.924 per gallon, while California had the highest at $4.811 per gallon. Gas prices vary⁣ significantly by state. Gas prices slightly increased on Monday after a quick drop in gas prices over the weekend.

According to AAA, the average price for a gallon of regular gas on Monday was $3.448. This was a slight increase over Sunday’s price of $3.447. A week ago, it also cost $3.447 for a gallon of regular gas. A month ago, the cost was $3.609 per gallon. A year ago, heading into the last week of June 2023, the average price for a gallon of regular gas was $3.578.

The state with the cheapest gas prices for a gallon of regular gas is Mississippi, where it was $2.924 per gallon. California, on the other hand, is the state with the most expensive gas prices in the country. A gallon of regular gas in the Golden State was $4.811 per gallon on Monday.

Washington, D.C.

In the nation’s capital, the average price for a gallon of regular gas was $3.666 on Monday. This was a slight increase from Sunday’s price of $3.661 per gallon, which was the same price as a week ago. A month ago, a gallon of regular gas was more expensive, coming in at $3.701 per gallon.

Virginia

The average price for a gallon of regular-grade gas in Virginia on Monday was $3.318. This was a slight decrease from Sunday’s average price of $3.321 per gallon. Both prices are a slight decrease from a week ago when regular-grade gas was $3.358 per gallon in Virginia. All of these prices are much cheaper than from a month ago, when it cost $3.471 per gallon for regular gas.

Maryland

The average price for a gallon of regular gas in Maryland on Monday was $3.518. This is less expensive than Sunday’s price of $3.522 per gallon. Both prices are less expensive than a week ago, when gas cost $3.607 per gallon. Gas prices are also cheaper now than from a month ago when it cost $3.667 for a gallon of regular gas.

Delaware

The average price for a gallon of regular gas in Delaware on Monday was $3.454. This was a slight drop from Sunday’s price of $3.458 per gallon. A week ago, regular gas in the First State was $3.538 per gallon. Gas prices were lower over the weekend in Delaware than compared to a month ago when gas cost $3.521 per gallon.

Pennsylvania

In Pennsylvania, the average price for a gallon of regular-grade gas was $3.626 on Monday. This was a slight decrease from a day earlier when the average price of $3.628 per gallon. It is also cheaper than prices from a week ago, when regular-grade gas was $3.648 per gallon. Prices are also significantly cheaper than from a month ago, when Pennsylvanians had to pay $3.776 per gallon for regular gas.
