Oklahoma is now the state with the cheapest gas in the country, with the average price for a gallon of regular gas at $2.881. This price was slightly lower than Mississippi’s, which is $2.896 per gallon on Monday. Mississippi used to be the state with the cheapest gas in the country up until last week.
Hawaii
Hawaii remains the state with the most expensive gas in the nation, coming in with an average price for regular gas at $4.64 per gallon on Monday. This was a slight drop from a week ago, when gas was $4.656 in the Aloha State, and a month ago, when regular gas cost Hawaiians $4.68 per gallon.
