Gov. Abbott: ‘Let’s go Brandon’ popular because Biden’s a disaster

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) is weighing in on the recent anti-Biden chant trending around the nation.

In an interview with Breitbart News on Friday, Abbott was asked about the “Let’s go Brandon” movement that’s taken over the crowds at sporting events ever since an NBC reporter mistook an anti-Biden chant for the term “Let’s go Brandon.” Abbott said people are angry over a plethora of issues brought about by Joe Biden’s recent policies.

“It’s just ludicrous, the policies that Joe Biden is advancing, and so when people gather at stadiums or maybe anywhere, they’re just angry about the Biden administration’s policies. Only part of it relates to COVID,” claimed Abbott. “Part of it is about the border, part of it is about inflation, part of it is about the catastrophic policies they’re implementing.”

Meanwhile, “Let’s go Brandon” hasn’t just become a social media sensation, but it also inspired it’s own song, which is reportedly sitting at the top of iTunes hip-hop charts.
