Gov. Greg Abbott (R-Texas) has received major support for his upcoming re-election campaign. The governor has served in public office within the Lone Star state for more than 25 years and has refused to back down to the Democrats in Washington D.C.
In his representation of the state sharing the longest border with Mexico, the Republican governor has long cited both Joe Biden’s lack of preparation to handle the influx of migrant children and his refusal to follow Trump-era border policies as the main contributing factors to the current border crisis.
“The Biden administration caused this crisis and has repeatedly failed to address it,” the Texas governor asserted. “The administration failed to plan for the influx of children that they invited to come. Now, they face allegations of despicable child abuse and neglect.”
President Trump sent me this note today.
“Greg — YOU WILL WIN BIG!”
Great to have the President behind me 100%.

Abbott has also voiced his position on the sanctity of life by signing one of the nation’s strictest abortion bills into law last month. The “heartbeat bill” prohibits abortions once signs of a fetal heartbeat are detected.
“Our creator endowed us with the right to life,” he expressed. “Yet millions of children lose their right to life every year because of abortion.”
The Texas governor, who is seeking his third term, has been leading the Lone Star state for over seven years and served as the 50th attorney general of the state before he assumed office. He stands for election integrity by uniting with several lawmakers to challenge the 2020 election results. He has also created a series of bills to tighten requirements for voter identification through early voting limitations and the outlaw of mail-in ballots.
“This last election we saw poll watchers being denied the ability to do their job,” he asserted. “…We have found in the past there have been some local elections, the outcome of which was altered by election fraud.”
Abbott’s track record within the Republican party earned him the endorsement of President Trump, who called the Texas governor a staunch defender of the Second Amendment and a fighter for the incredible people of Texas. President Trump also said that under the Abbott’s leadership Texas has become a “Second Amendment sanctuary state” and a “job creating machine.”
Abbott will have the chance to continue his work should he be re-elected in November of 2022.
