According to BBC News, Meloni declared, “Italians have sent a clear message in favor of a right-wing government led by Brothers of Italy.” They have witnessed the negative impact of certain changes in countries influenced by LGBT lobbyists, gender ideology, mass migration, lost Christianity, and Islamic extremists, and they want no part in it.
Of course, not everyone is pleased with Meloni’s actions. Some view her decisions as outdated and cruel. This includes lesbian couples who find Italy’s ban on same-sex surrogacy abhorrent.
Italy is now reinforcing its stance by removing the names of non-biological mothers from the birth certificates of children raised in LGBT households. Critics argue that this puts these children at risk, especially if the biological mother passes away, potentially making them wards of the state.
It is difficult not to empathize with individuals like Michela Leidi, who discovered that her name would be erased from her shared daughter’s birth certificate with her partner Viola. As the non-biological mother, she was informed that her name would no longer be recognized, as reported by the U.K.’s Daily Mail. “It was as if I didn’t exist,” she lamented.
While we can sympathize with individuals like Leidi, it is essential to consider the bigger picture.
Leading Italy with Integrity
As the leader of her country, Meloni faces the challenging task of doing what is right for all of Italy while keeping it united. She cannot simply appease a few individuals at the expense of the nation’s well-being. Meloni believes this approach will not lead to a brighter future for Italians.
This same rational thinking led Patrizia Mirigliani, the official patron of the Miss Italy pageant, to reaffirm the requirement that contestants must be “women from birth,” according to TrendingPolitics. This decision follows the recent crowning of Miss Netherlands, who happens to be transgender.
Italy refuses to turn a blind eye to the problems that come with embracing “woke” ideology. They see the negative consequences experienced by countries that blindly follow the crowd. Italy chooses to prioritize efforts to strengthen its own society, positioning itself for a better future. The current leadership believes this is the best strategy.
Reinstating basic values is crucial to bolstering the foundation of Italian life, especially in the face of Italy’s declining population crisis.
Protecting the Integrity of Parenthood
“In Italy, marriage is only between a man and a woman, and therefore only the biological parent is the parent whose surname can be registered,” explained Italy’s minister for parliamentary relations, Luca Ciriani, in an interview with RTL radio, as reported by the Advocate.
Considering this, when biological children are conceived, both the father and mother have the right to be recognized as parents on their children’s birth certificates. LGBT civil unions, while legally recognized in Italy, do not involve procreation. Therefore, they should not receive the same parental rights as those who conceive biologically.
It is acceptable to change rules when necessary. However, leaders like Meloni do not see any benefit in the current changes driven by those succumbing to external pressure. That is why they take a stand. There must be a line drawn somewhere.
Nothing is more important than maintaining stability, whether it is for a nation or a family. Meloni believes her actions achieve both. Her determination, strength, and commitment to what is right will resonate with other countries facing similar dilemmas.
Meloni’s unwavering stance makes it harder for woke ideology to gain further ground and for progressives to claim more territory. She becomes a nemesis of their own creation, restoring balance to the world. The irony, or should I say L’ironia.
True Leadership: Protecting the Country
True leaders prioritize the protection of their country above all else, even if it means protecting it from its own people when necessary. Those who fail to do so ultimately fail their citizens. Perhaps President Biden should take note. According to recent reports, he already has… along with a few million others.
