Grassley claims Burisma exec had 17 recordings of talks with Joe and Hunter related to bribery scandal.
Explosive Senate Speech Reveals Alleged Biden Pay-to-Play Scandal
Iowa Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley dropped a bombshell during an explosive U.S. Senate floor speech on Monday. According to Grassley, the Burisma executive behind an alleged Biden pay-to-play scandal kept 15 audio recordings of conversations between him and Hunter Biden, as well as two recordings of conversations between him and then-Vice President Joe Biden, as an “insurance policy.”
Grassley revealed that the revelations are a redacted reference in the FD-1023 form, which the FBI attempted to hide from the House Oversight Committee. The form summarizes a “highly credible” confidential human source’s allegations that then-VP Joe Biden engaged in a $5 million criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national in exchange for influence over U.S. policy decisions.
Grassley also stated that the form suggests Joe might have been the reason Hunter scored a spot on the board of Burisma, the Ukrainian energy company that paid the Biden son inordinate amounts of money despite his lack of relevant expertise. “The 1023 also indicates that then-Vice President Joe Biden may have been involved in Burisma employing Hunter Biden,” Grassley stated.
Grassley criticized the DOJ and FBI for not having the same “laser focus” on the Biden family as they did on former President Trump. Grassley demanded to know what the Justice Department and FBI have “done to investigate” the alleged bribery scandal. “The Justice Department and FBI must show their work,” wrote Grassley. “They no longer deserve the benefit of the doubt.”
Two Standards of Justice
Indeed, as Grassley suggests, the DOJ doesn’t appear interested in upholding “equal justice under the law.” News of Biden’s alleged multimillion-dollar bribery scheme broke last week — at the same time that the DOJ announced former President Donald Trump would be facing a total of 37 counts in a criminal indictment for allegedly mishandling classified documents. Notably, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Mike Pence, and Barack Obama all had “documents disputes” and did not face the wrath of the deep state.

“Based on the facts known to Congress and the public, it’s clear that the Justice Department and FBI will use every resource to investigate candidate Trump, President Trump, and former President Trump,” Grassley wrote in a press release following his Senate floor speech. “Two standards of justice in this country will turn our constitutional Republic upside down,” he continued. “Thanks to the political infection within the Biden Justice Department and FBI, we’re well along the road for that to happen.”
FBI Stonewalling
Grassley stated in his press release that FBI Director Christopher Wray, who was nearly held in contempt of Congress for stonewalling lawmakers’ investigation of the Biden family business, littered the unclassified FD-1023 form with redactions. “More than that, the FBI made Congress review a redacted unclassified document in a classified facility,” he added. “That goes to show you the disrespect the FBI has for Congress.”
“Getting a full and complete 1023 is critical for the American people to know and understand the true nature of the document and to hold the Justice Department and FBI accountable,” he concluded. “Congress owes it to the American people and the brave and heroic whistleblowers to continue to fight for transparency in this matter and make this document public without unnecessary redactions.”
